Hello 32X. If some one can explain the problem... Is it because some dual wheels are not in the count? Who started to cat 10 an 12-wheeled trucks? See with them, I just followed what was started. And don't forget spare wheels!

So, now, do what you want, I don't care, I gave up (and removed 80.000 pages of my WL) because of some impolite guys who only grumble and never explain what is wrong. So, what is wrong? Go on, explain.

If I'll have to do like them I could object about the huge truck's cat where vans should not be because vans (fourgon: Ford Transit e.g.; fourgonnette/camionnette: Peugeot Partner e.g.) are only utility vehicles not trucks, but just because American is the main language we have to sort like that. In Europe what you call truck (camion, poids-lourd) is more 3.5T max loaded.

• Wiki.en: "Truck": ".../...Smaller varieties may be mechanically similar to some automobiles.../...": vans;
• Wiki.fr: "Camion": ".../...Sur le plan technique, le camion (ou poids-lourd) se distingue du véhicule léger (fourgon) par sa charge à l'essieu, ses dimensions plus importantes et sa fonction.../...".

Hello Llann Wé², I saw you uploaded a lot of quality pictures on Commons, I have a question and hope you can help me. this photo and this one are both in the Gardiner, Arthur Z. collection. The author says that the US government has copyrighted this material, I'm not sure if the General Lê Văn Kim.jpg file has the correct image tag; if so, then similar photos like this one and this one — also in the same collection — can be uploaded with the same PD-USGov tag, right? Ben, le boulot, toujours sur la route à la semaine, comme d'hab (pas encore à la retraite...) ; bricolage à la maison ; mes parents qui, à leur âge, ont besoin de moi, etc... J'ai passé beaucoup d'heures à classer 90% des fichiers de Nantes et je me bagarre pour récupérer + de 100.000 fichiers sur un HDD récalcitrant qui n'est pas reconnu par Windows, sauf pour le reformater. Donc, installation de Linux dans un vieux PC mais qui corrompt 1 image sur 10. C'est gavant !

Pas d'hospitalisation pour moi depuis 2 ans, contrairement à mes parents et belle-mère qui semblent vouloir faire un concours ! Mais, à plus de 90 ans, ça fonctionne moins bien.

Hello! Merci pour tes nouvelles. En ce qui me concerne j’ai depuis bien longtemps une dilatation des voies biliaires avec un petit obstacle au niveau du hile (sans doute un petit kyste congénital). J'ai fait une endoscopie et fibroscopie (RSAH) avec une courte hospitalisation pendant en été, puis des écho-graphies, un IRM et un Scanner. comme tu le dis à avec l'age, j'aurai 80 ans le mois prochain, ça fonctionne moins bien. Bon courage à toi pour le classement et la récupération de tes fichiers. Heureusement que l'informatique est un joyeux passe temps. Loire in Blois

Please stop edit-warring and remove this category from my files. They pretty clearly show the Loire, are taken in Blois, and that they have the bridge at the background is not a pretext of sending them to the bridge category only. Thank you for your understanding. If you take a look at the mother cat, bridges of the Loire River are on the Loire River so are in the cat Loire River, even in Blois, like every bridges cats of France that are sorted like this, so please don't revert and follow conventions and rules. (bridges).

Automobiles non-identifiées

Je ne comprends pas pourquoi tu retires cette catégorie de nombreuses photos. Cette catégorie est faite pour des photos d'automobiles pour lesquelles la marque et le modèle sont manquants = non-identifiés. Tout est identifiable pour ceux qui connaissent, grâce aux détails, et même si le sujet n'est pas central, ça reste un élément de contexte utile.

J'ai déjà trouvé l'adresse dun bâtiment démoli depuis 50 ans grâce à Street View de 2025 grâce à des détails infimes (pas d'infos ni de contexte). Le mieux est de conserver la catégorie non identifiée et de laisser les experts identifier plus tard.

Si tu considères que c'est un camion, mets la catégorie camion non-identifié. Mais dans plusieurs cas, tu as remplacé par des catégories génériques comme "intérieur". Du coup personne n'ira chercher à identifier correctement ces photos. Nemesis III ^(discuter) 22:26, 23 October 2025 (UTC)

Je devrais vérifier une par une toutes mes modifications pour retrouver desquelles il s'agit. Un sujet identifiable est pertinent car la marque et le modèle donnent du contexte par rapport à la culture et la société. Si tu ne sais pas à quoi tu fais référence, comment veux-tu que je puisse te répondre... N'ayant pas envie (ni le temps) de me plonger dans un historique énorme (comme toi, d'ailleurs, et c'est dommage, car j'aurais bien aimé savoir), je ne me lancerai pas dans une guerre puérile de reverts...

Donc, approfondis tes recherches d'"Unidentified" (ce n'est pas ce qui manque), puisque tu cherches la petite bête :

• pour les ambulances (photos N&B de la guerre), au lieu de mettre category:Unidentified automobiles (ce ne sont pas vraiment des automobiles), mets category:Unidentified ambulances (ce sont des ambulances) ou category:Unidentified military vehicles -ou trucks- (ce sont des véhicules militaires, et que, pour Commons, ce qui n'est pas une voiture est un truck) et category:Military ambulances (ce sont des ambulances militaires), ça fera peut-être y regarder des gens qui s'y connaissent ;
• mets aussi category:Unidentified people car tu ne connais pas ce brave soldat de couleur ;
• dans la foulée, category:Unidentified books car tu ne sais pas non plus ce qu'il lit.

Voilà, pour ne pas faire les choses à moitié.

Le but n'est pas de faire une bataille de révocations mais de ne pas retirer des catégories pertinentes. Ajouter la catégorie "intérieur d'automobile" comme tu as pu le faire est pertinent. Retirer "modèle non identifié" comme tu l'avais fait est une perte d'information. C'est comme si tu retires un bandeau d'ébauche.

Libre à toi d'ajouter des catégories pour tous les sujets non identifiés. Nemesis III ^(discuter) 01:12, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
